Abstract

A simplified surgical technique for ear cropping was studied in 120 dogs. The technique consisted of trimming of the ears after clamping, without the use of cauterization nor sutures. The wounds exhibited a faultless healing in a short time and few imperfections were observed at the ears. The cosmetic aspect was satisfatory.
