Abstract

This research analyzes the impact of corporate social responsibility with the characteristic of enterprise size (in terms of the numbers of employees) on work motivation of 446 employees working for 38 ICT enterprises in Hanoi. The Structural Equation Modeling was applied in both unidimensional and multidimensional methods with data collected in the period from January 2023 to April 2023. The SEM estimation results indicate that corporate social responsibility has a positive impact on work motivation, in addition, legal responsibility has the strongest impact. Simultaneously, the size of the enterprise also has an effect on work motivation. Besides, the bigger the size of the enterprise is, the more strongly corporate social responsibility tends to affect. Since then, suggestions have been made to promote the work motivation of employee in the ICT industry through strengthening CSR activities.
