Abstract
The long-term drug-related episodic memory contributes significantly to cue-induced craving in methamphetamine use disorder (MUD) [1]. Long-term episodic memory could be modified during a process known as reconsolidation initiated by memory retrieval under certain conditions [2]. The dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (dlPFC) is a key node in the neural network controlling memory retrieval and reconsolidation [3,4]. Moreover, both animal studies and brain imaging evidence show that the dlPFC is involved in incentive value computation by its reciprocal connection with the limbic system [4,5].
