Abstract
The results of a taxonomic study ofCardamine amara L. from the Carpathians and Pannonia are presented. Two subspecies,Cardamine amara L. subsp.amara andC. amara subsp.opicii (J. Presl &C. Presl)Celak., are shown to occur in the area studied. Full synonymy, descriptions, chromosome numbers, taxonomic history, distribution data, and ecological notes are provided.
