Abstract

Research Article| May 01 2015 Table for One James Nolan James Nolan James Nolan’s essay “One Year and a Day” was anthologized in the Gastronomica Reader, and he is a frequent nonfiction contributor to Boulevard. His most recent book is You Don’t Know Me: New and Selected Stories, and his novel Higher Ground was awarded the 2012 Independent Publishers Gold Medal in Southern Fiction. He has published eight previous books of poetry, fiction, translations, and essays, and lives in his native New Orleans.
