Abstract

The basis of the work is based on the analysis of complex examination and surgical treatment of 220 patients with obliterative aortic atherosclerosis and trunk arteries of the lower extremities. Patients with high risk of reperfusion complications (group II) are characterized by high activity of the systemic inflammatory response. In particular, the content of CR-protein, lactate, and fibrinogen in blood serum in patients of Group II exceeded the SIRS values of patients in group І in 1,2-1,9 (p<0,05) times. Analyzing the results of the calculation of integral hematological indices in patients with atherosclerotic obliteration of the lower limb arteries, it was found that they reflect the level of SIRS activity in both groups of the above-mentioned patients. It is found that they are significantly higher in patients of group ІІ. Describing the oxidative capacity of both neutrophils and monocytes, it was higher at all stages of patient treatment, comparing it with the oxidative capacity of neutrophils and monocytes of healthy individuals. But it was more pronounced in patients with high risk of reperfusion complications.
