Abstract

The elimination of the effect of a ramp disturbance in the determination of the impulse-response function of a time-invariant system is described. The system uses a chain-code test signal. It is shown that the error due to the ramp disturbance may be eliminated by careful choice of the commencement of the period, of duration equal to the chain-code period, over which the computation is performed.
