Abstract
レブリン酸と二塩基酸モノエステルとの Kolbe 反応により生成する ω-アシルカルボン酸類にさらに同様な反応を試みたところ, これらのケト酸にも容易に電解反応が行なわれ, 他の方法では合成困難な一連の高級ケト酸が得られた。また合成にあたって, どのように反応を組み合わせれば好適かという点についても検討を行なった。
