Abstract

Determining the optimal number and location of production (injection) wells is one of the key issues in theory and practice of oil and gas field development. The success of drilling and further exploitation of wells and also the efficiency of implemented system development of the field depends on the quality of decision making when choosing the location of wells. For determine the optimal horizontal well trajectory propose using synthetic property of oil and gas fields - 3D model of the potentiality intensity of fluid filtration. Developed method provide determination of optimal horizontal well trajectory considering of existing limitation to ensure the efficiency of further drilling process and high production parameters of the wells: the initial flow rate, duration of anhydrous production, cumulative production etc.
