Abstract

We investigated the presence of plasmon resonances (PRs) for substrates with the metallic nanowires (NWs) that were obtained by the matrix (template) synthesis method in the pores of the track membranes. We found experimentally that the location and width of the PRs depend on the diameter of the NWs and on the distance between them. The presence of PRs indicates the potential applicability of such substrates as SERS-active substrates.
