Abstract
Two-dimensional (2D) MXenes materials have unique structure and excellent performance, which have been used in lithium ion batteries, supercapacitors and other electrochemical energy storage devices. However, it still faces great challenges to synthesis of high performance of Mxene and its composites by a facile method. Herein, 2D Ti3C2 (Mxene)/TiO2 heterostructure is prepared by microwave radiation quickly and following annealing method. As a result, the as-obtained annealed Ti3C2/TiO2 electrode showing high specific capacitance of 102.5 F·g−1 at current density of 300 mA·g−1, which is higher than that of before annealing electrode (64.1 F·g−1). The retention of specific capacitance remains ∼89.1% after 2500 charging/discharging cycles. In addition, an excellent photoelectric performance is also studied. This work may enhance the electrochemical and photoelectric properties of Ti3C2/TiO2 heterojunction for practical applications.
