Abstract
Novel AB type block copolymers (polyvinyltrimethylsilane-polydimethylsiloxane) containing different amounts of the constituent blocks have been synthesizeed by anionic sequential polymerization of vinyltrimethylsilane and hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane. A method for the preparation of block copolymers that are compositionally homogeneous and free of homopolymers has been developed.
