Abstract
This research successfully achieved a high-efficiency synthesis of Ruthenium-doped molybdenum disulfide quantum dots (Ru-MoS2 QDs) with a yield of 27 wt%. The obtained Ru-MoS2 QDs possess blue fluorescence and quantum yield of 2.56 %. Moreover, these Ru-MoS2 QDs demonstrated exceptional selectivity and an impressively low detection limit of 0.55 μM for Fe3+ ions, highlighting their considerable promise for future applications in sensitive detection methodologies.
