Abstract
1. A mechanism is proposed for the catalytic condensation of vinylethynylcarbinols with ammonia. 2. A series of pyridine bases were obtained by catalytic treatment of both aliphatic and aromatic methyl ketones with methyl vinyl ketone over the catalyst Cd3(PO4)2/Al2O3 at 400°.
