Abstract
We present an efficient and easy approach using chain-growth condensation polymerization (CGCP) followed by atom-transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) to synthesize well-defined polybenzamide-b-polystyrene diblock copolymers with ππ interactions of aromatic rings, as well as strong intermolecular multiple hydrogen bonding between amide linkages after removal of the protecting group on amide nitrogen.
