Abstract
Two new bicyclic β-lactams have been synthesised by the addition reaction of phthalimidoacetyl chloride with 2-methyl-Δ2-oxazoline and 2-phenyl 4-H-5,6-dihydro-Δ2-1,3-thiazine bases.
