Abstract
A convenient method to prepare (±)-N-acyl norepinephrine derivatives has been developed, one of which (R = CH3) was an important active ingredient isolated from Aspongopus chinensis Dallas. To full acylated norepinephrine 3, different de-protection conditions will afford different products (4 or 5) selectively. The structure was identified by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, HRMS and X-ray spectra.
