Abstract

Abstract PbTiO3 thin films are prepared by a sol-gel method based on the use of dihydroxy alcohols as solvents. After deposition of the precursor solutions on Pt/TiO2/Si substrates, lead titanate films with different microstructures are obtained depending on the thermal treatment used. Related to these microstructures, differences in electrical behaviour are also measured in these films.
