Abstract
AbstractThe synthesis of several heterocyclic propellanes via 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddition reactions of arylnitrile oxides, diarylnitrilimines and arylazides with bicyclo[5.3.0]dec‐1(7)‐en‐2‐one is described and the spectral properties of the obtained propellanes are discussed. The cycloadditions are also examined on the basis of frontier molecular orbitals (FMO) of the reacting species.
