Abstractmagnified imageConcise and efficient methods for the synthesis of enantiomers of fire ant venom alkaloids solenopsin and isosolenopsin A, B, and C are described. These syntheses are based on diastereoselective electrophilic substitution of enatiomerically‐pure α‐lithiated 2‐alkylpiperidine.
