Abstract

Is considered the variety of art of of Emma Andievska, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko, who, by the will of fate, ended up outside of Ukraine. She combined two types of art—literature and visual art, thus creating a space for powerful experiments and future theoretical reflections on the interpretation of artistic images and motifs in line with mythological aesthetics. Is analyzed the creative laboratory of the writer and artist, her desire to create their own discourse in the history of Ukrainian culture. The necessity of an integrated approach to the study of her works — literary and graphic, reflecting the avant-garde worldview is substantiated.
