Highlights

To a solution of 1-(3-(p-tolyloxy)propyl)piperazine (2) (1.20 g, 5.14 mmol) in anhydrous anisole (5 mL) under nitrogen was added a solution of titanium tetrachloride in toluene (1.0 M, 1.10 mL, 1.10 mmol)
synthesized the title compound based on the structural hybridization of the two prominent antipsychotic drugs
with the titanium-amine complex formed from the addition of titanium tetrachloride
