Abstract
In this work, the rod-like 4,4¢-bis(imidazol-1-yl)-biphenyl (bibp) ligand is utilized as a building block for the coordination assembly with the Zn(II) ion to produce a new Zn(II)-based coordination polymer [Zn3(bibp)2(HCOO)6](H2O)2 (1) under solvothermal conditions. Furthermore, we use the grinding method to downsize complex 1 to the nanoregion. The anti-gastric cancer activity of the compound is evaluated by the Annexin V-FITC/PI apoptosis assay in flow cytometry, and the following mechanism exploration is performed by the DCFH-DA detection assay for the ROS detection.
