Abstract

A series of complexes of poly(N,N-diethylacrylamide-co-methacrylic acid) (PDEA-co-MAA) with Ln(III) (Ln = La, Eu, Tb) were synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, FT-IR and TG-DTA. The luminescence spectra of Eu(III) and Tb(III) complexes in solid state were also studied. The complexes exhibit strong characteristic luminescence of Eu(III) and Tb(III) ions, while the luminescence intensity depend on the content of DEA and Ln(III) ions.
