Abstract
In the presented article, were synthesized in the presence of a nano-ZnO catalyst based on hippuric acid and ethylene glycol (7 % wt. in terms of hippuric acid) in a ratio of 2:1, at a temperature of 110 oC, for 5–6 hours, ester of ethylene glycol -bis-digippurate with a yield of 90 %, and on the basis of anisic acid and ethylene glycol (7 % wt. in terms of anisic acid) in a ratio of 2:1, at a temperature of 110 oC, for 5–6 hours, ester of ethylene glycol-bis- dianisate with a yield of 88.5 %. The physicochemical parameters of the synthesized esters were determined by analytical and spectral methods. Synthesized esters were tested with the aim of specification of thermo-oxide stability of diesel fuel. It was proved, that esters improve a thermo-oxide stability of diesel fuel and may be applied as antioxidants to them.
