Abstract

Coordination complexes of nickel(II) with aroyl hydrazones of ethyl ether of 5,5-dimethyl-2,4-dioxohexane acid (H2L1–H2L6) are prepared and studied. The composition and structure of complexes obtained on the basis of these ligands are established by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR spectroscopy, and XRD methods. IR and 1H NMR parameters correlate with each other under the variation of the substituents in the p-position of the benzene ring located in the hydrazide part of ligand molecules. The ring-chain equilibrium in the complexes is established.
