Synthesis and crystal structure of the complex double salt [Re(NCC 6H 4Me-4) 2(Ph 2PCH 2CH 2PPh 2) 2][ReF 2(Ph 2PCH 2CH 2PPh 2) 2] [BF 4] 2

Abstract

Reaction of NCC 6H 4Me-4 with trans-[ReCl(N 2)(dppe) 2] (dppe = Ph 2PCH 2CH 2PPh 2) in the presence of TlBF 4 has given the formation of trans-[Re(NCC 6H 4Me-4) 2(dppe) 2][BF 4] · trans-[ReF 2(dppe) 2][[BF 4], the crystal structure of which has been determined.
