Abstract
AbstractSodium dithionate (Na2S2O6) was synthesized and characterized by complementary solid‐state analyses. The obtained results enabled to describe the dehydration and decomposition phenomena under heating and reversible hydration and dehydration phenomena at relative humidity. The important role of water in the dihydrate crystalline structure is highlighted by dynamic vapor sorption (DVS) analysis, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis, and structural description.
