Abstract
In this study, we describe a cost effective and environment friendly technique for the biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles from 1mM AgNO 3 solution through the extract of mesocarp of Canarium strictum as reducing agent. UV–visible spectroscopy was used for quantification of silver nanoparticle synthesis. The synthesized silver nanoparticles were characterized with Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR).
