Abstract

Abstract In this work, Cu-Ni nanowires were prepared by a single and two-step coating process. For the two-step method, as-prepared Cu nanowires with mean diameter of about 75 nm were coated with Ni, resulting in a Ni layer 35 nm thick. On the other hand, the single-step process resulted in Cu-Ni nanowires with mean diameter and length of about 100 nm and 120 µm, respectively. Cu-Ni nanowire flexible conducting electrode achieved a sheet resistance of about 304 ohm/sq. This is slightly higher than the sheet resistance Cu nanowire electrode of about 197 ohm/sq
