Abstract
In this manuscript, we report synthesis and characterization of Schiff base ligand 4 – nitro-salicylidene aniline and derived Cu (II) complex of this ligand. Structural and morphological properties of prepared metal complex were done using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron microscope (SEM) and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). From XRD, we identified the crystalline state and morphology of the complex was observed by SEM. FTIR elucidated information about functional groups, bonding types and nature of complex.
