Abstract
The complexes of lanthanide perchlorates in conjunction with N,N′-diethyl-N,N′- diphenyl-3-oxapatanediamide (DDO) ligand have been prepared in non-aqueous media. These complexes with general formulation [Ln(DDO)2(H2O)2](ClO4)3 (Ln = La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu) have been characterized by elemental analysis, conductivity measurement, IR spectra, 1H NMR spectra and TG-DTA techniques. In all the complexes, the ligand (DDO) shows tridentate behavior.
