Abstract
The aryl-substituted oxadiazole motif is present in natural products and in many biologically active compounds. In this present communication, novel substituted oxadiazole derivatives were reported along with their isolation and synthesis by the reaction of 5- phenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-amine with several aldehydes in the presence of DMF and MK-10 as a catalyst. The compounds were characterized by spectral data such as IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR.
