Abstract
Excised synovial membrane was examined for fibrinolytic and thromboplastic activity. Late results of synovectomy are uniformly satisfactory. Fourteen boys, 6–16 yr old, with hemophilic arthropathy of the knee, were treated by synovectomy. Excised synovial membrane was examined for fibrinolytic and thromboplastic activity. The results of synovectomy are satisfactory. Follow-up is from several weeks to 2 yr.
