Abstract

This study reflects a functional analysis of the activity of the administrative commissions within the local public authorities, which have the competence to find and examine the antisocial, illicit acts with a low degree of social danger. The content reveals the legislation on the subject of research, aspects of praxiology, the impact of local admi-nistrative commissions in ensuring the social order and discipline, as well as the rule of law.Moreover, there were examined the issues of competence that arise in the activity of local administrative commis-sions, in relation to the powers of other authorities that are competent to solve contravention cases. At the same time, we analyzed the praxiological utility and the role of the local administrative commissions in the process of finding, examining and solving the contravention cases.
