Abstract
This article aims to analyze and discuss the relations between art, science and digital culture from the case of synesthesia. First, some information about synaesthesia in science are introduced: definition, diagnosis, characteristics and discussions about different positions regarding related phenomena. Then, we present the main approaches of synaesthesia in art and a brief discussion about the appropriation of the term to refer to artworks. Finally, It is highlighted the association between technology and synesthesia and the impact of this relation on the creation and analysis of artistic works that simulate synaesthetic experiences in the context of digital culture.
