Abstract

This paper addresses the master-slave synchronization problem for a class of continuous-time switched nonlinear systems. The sampled-data of system output and mode is utilized to design the quantized synchronizing controller. Based on the input delay approach, the synchronization error system is modeled as a switched system with state delay and asynchronously switching signal, which generated by merging the original switching signal with its sampled data. Then by constructing an appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, a new sufficient synchronization condition and synchronizing controller design approach for the considered switched systems are obtained. One example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization scheme.
