Abstract

This paper studies sampled-data control problem for networked switched linear discrete time systems. Since that the controller is connected with the plant via a communication channel, it can only access the sampled information of the switching signal and system state, where there may exist the time varying transmission delay from the sensor to the controller. The original switching signal are merged with its sampled measurements to formulate a new switching signal, therefore, a switched system with state delay is obtained for the resulted closed-loop system when input delay approach is applied. A new sufficient condition for the exponential stability of the closed-loop system is obtained by discrete time multiple Lyapunov functional method. Then, a particular quadratic Lyapunov function is constructed in order to design the state feedback controllers.
