AbstractWe provide symmetrization results as mass concentration comparisons for solutions to singular parabolic equations in the cylinder $$\Omega \times (0,T)$$ Ω × ( 0 , T ) , $$T>0$$ T > 0 . Here, $$\Omega \subset {\mathbb {R}}^N$$ Ω ⊂ R N ($$N \ge 2$$ N ≥ 2 ) is a bounded open set, featuring a lower order term that is singular in the solution variable s.
