Abstract
In retrospective studies of patients with metastatic prostate cancer (mPC), the prognosis of those who received local treatment by surgery or radiation was better than those who did not, especially in patients with better prognosis. Therefore, a prospective study was conducted in patients with mPC performing local radiation therapy (RT) in combination with androgen ablation therapy (ADT). Local RT was effective for patients with low volume metastasis and became one of the standard treatments.
