Abstract
This paper presents research results of switching strategies of a power electronic resonant zero current switching (ZCS) DC-DC switched-capacitor voltage multiplier (SCVM). The SCVM can operate under the various switching methods, which determine the rated power of the converter, its efficiency, capacitors selection, as well as the input and output current waveforms. The switching strategies are demonstrated and compared by mathematical analysis and simulation results. The important findings are verified experimentally in a three-cell SCVM DC-DC resonant boost converter.
