Abstract

The current response in the time domain was investigated in the low-temperature switching state of K 0.3MoO 3. The quantized stochastic steps and the regular oscillations with impulsive wave-forms were observed. The step in the current response presumably corresponds to that observed in TaS 3 by Ong et al. Furthermore, intermittency was found in the current response, which shows that the effective inertia is important in the charge-density-wave motion.
