Abstract

AbstractA cost effective protocol has been developed for the synthesis of diverse heterocyclic ethers through the radical cross‐coupling of heteroarenes and cyclic ethers. This reaction is catalyzed by inexpensive iron(III) perchlorate and employs TBHP (tert‐butyl hydroperoxide) as an external oxidant. The protocol demonstrates remarkable versatility in substrate compatibility and can accommodate various functional groups, all under mild reaction conditions. Importantly, this method eliminates the need for costly metals and avoids photo‐redox processes, making it a promising strategy for efficient and sustainable chemical synthesis.
