Abstract

The main motto of the Stockholm Conference was to meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs and after that be a part of the conference, Indian Judiciary have taken various steps to incorporate various treaties of the Conference to be binding through various leading cases on its subordinate court of law but sometimes we found that Indian Judiciary did not fulfill their goal. In this paper, I am being somehow critical about the role of the Indian Judiciary and also discuss about the role of Judiciary maintaining Sustainable Development.
