Abstract
In line with opinions voiced by leading comrades of the Party Center, we have visited in succession a number of provinces with the purpose of informing ourselves about the implementation of the Party's policies on religion and about the opening up of key Buddhist and Daoist monasteries and temples in Han nationality regions nationwide; we have investigated issues regarding the management responsibilities for cultural relics, religions, parks and gardens, and tourist venues and other relevant issues, and have listened fairly extensively to opinions voiced in relevant quarters concerning a number of issues that require study and resolution.
