Abstract

The possibility of propagation of surface waves in an inhomogeneous liquid medium is investigated. The variations of density, ϱ and bulk modulus, λ, are taken to be $$Q = Q*(1 + bz)^p ,\lambda = \lambda *(1 + bz)^{p + 2} $$ Frequency equation is obtained and the existence of its real roots is discussed. Some numerical results are computed and presented graphically.
