Abstract

Seawater Splitting In article number 2214069, HyukSu Han, Chan-Yeup Chung, Hyeok Kim, and co-workers develop a revolutionary catalyst design strategy to induce chloride blocking materials in nickel iron layered double hydroxide via surface reconstruction enabling excellent overall saline water splitting. The integrated system of seawater electrolyzer in combination with low-flux large-area photovoltaic cells successfully demonstrates a high potential for sustainable and economic green hydrogen production.
