Abstract

All-Solid-State Lithium-Metal Batteries In article number 2207223, Jeeyoung Yoo, Youn Sang Kim, and co-workers present an all-solid-state lithium-metal battery with composite solid electrolyte. Specifically, the oxygen vacancy-rich indium tin oxide (ITO) nanoparticles (green-colored) induce the Li-ion conducting percolation network (red-colored) at the ITO-poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) interface. The oxygen vacancy enables fast movement of Li-ions in the interface network. This phenomenon suggests that the vacancy engineering of filler holds strong promise for developing advanced all-solid-state batteries.
