Abstract

Adsorption of 4-hydroxy-6-methyl-1,3,3a,7-tetraazaindene (TAI) on a silver surface has been investigated by means of surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). The basic principles of the technique are presented. The relationship between the intensities of SERS and oxidation/reduction cycles (ORCs) was also investigated.
