Surface design of Aramid film for future ME tapes

Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the difference in properties among four ME tapes whose surface roughness were changed Because for ME tape, electromagnetic properties and durability largely depend on the surface roughness. To achieve both properties, surface micro structures of the aramid films were designed by using different size of protrusions.
